BBC: If UEFA decides that Crystal Palace will miss the European war, the latter will initiate legal action

The senior executives of Crystal Palace believe that they are being treated unfairly. The club was found not meeting the participation conditions because it failed to reorganize its ownership structure before March 1 to meet UEFA's "multi-club ownership" regulations.

Although Lyon has been forced to relegate, he can still participate in European competitions, and French authorities allow it to ease financial problems by selling players to support relegation appeals. Crystal Palace pointed out that he was treated differently due to his lack of experience in European competitions, and Lyon received extra time to rectify his financial appeal, but he was directly punished for rules.
