Is hiring Tenghach the biggest misjudgment in your management career?

In any case, in my position, I have to make many personnel decisions—whether it is about coaches or players. On the road to building a championship team, we also need some corrections, including staff. This time the situation developed so quickly and the direction was obviously wrong, which was unusual, and it would be meaningless to wait and see if it would improve in this case. Given the bad record, coupled with the fact that we just signed a new player before the transfer window ended, we thought it was a suitable node to make the change and start over.

Did there be any interpersonal problems in the pre-season stage?

Yes, as I said, the human level is equally important except for the professional level. I don't think we've really made a connection and therefore never fit enough. Sometimes, the better option for both parties is to admit that it is inappropriate, which is unusual, perhaps cruel, but clearer and more honest, not only for us, but for Tenhah.

Why is this happening? Haven't you had a conversation with him before?

Of course there was a conversation. Communication is one thing, but the subsequent development is another - this is life. All our personnel decisions have a process, not just interviews, but also reference materials, as well as many past exchanges. We do the same to players.

But every club has its own culture. When newcomers join, they can sometimes fit quickly, but sometimes they are difficult. You'll try to improve in the preseason, but this time the situation is just not going in the right direction. Of course, there are some situations that have a bad start but improved later. There are also such examples in the players, such as Mousa Diabi, who struggled in the first half of the year, but later made a breakthrough. But in Tenghager's case, we don't feel that things will go in that direction.
