Documentary tells the story of Li Airui s "running life"

The 30-minute documentary "Running Life: Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Paris Championship by Tianjin Haihe Media Center and Tianjin Sports Bureau" stood out among nearly 2,000 works, successfully shortlisted for the Milan Film and Television Festival, and was qualified to be screened at the Brera International Center in Lombardy, Milan tomorrow.

On July 26 last year, the 33rd Summer Olympics opened in Paris. This is another Olympic host city after Paris has become the Olympic Games host city after a century. At the 8th Paris Olympics 100 years ago, Li Airui, a "Scottish Flyingman" born in Tianjin, won the 400-meter gold medal and broke the world record.

The film takes Li Airui's brilliant and turbulent life as the main line, and the development of modern sports in Tianjin, the origins of China and the Olympics as the dark lines, telling the story of Li Airui and China and Tianjin. In order to get close to Li Airui, the production team went to Europe to photograph the school he attended, interviewed Li Airui's family, Scottish sports experts, Li Airui's biographer, as well as Tianjin experts and sprint training professors who studied Li Airui's cross-cultural communication. Through multi-faceted interpretations, they deeply explored the details, telling the life of Li Airui's legend, the spirit of striving and uplifting, and the selfless mind of sowing the seeds of sports. At the same time, they talked about the continuous development, prosperity and strength of China's sports industry, and painted a beautiful picture of mutual learning and cultural integration between Chinese and Western civilizations.

The film won the Excellence Award and the Most Media Popularity Award at the Beijing International Sports Film and Television Week in July this year.

Milan International Sports Film and Television Festival is hosted by the International Federation of Sports Film and Television (FICTS). It is one of the most influential international events in the global sports film and television and media field. It has been officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee and has become an important platform for spreading the Olympic spirit and sports culture.
