Fans are litigated for discrimination, and the court punishes employers for not hiring Tottenham fans

One of the fun of fans watching the game is the "war of mouth" between fans with supporters of different teams. However, recently, the local labor and management court in London recently tried a case. The judge ruled that the employer has the right to refuse to hire because of the applicant's "interest". For example, if the company's team is all Arsenal fans, the employer can legally refuse to hire "Spurs fans".

Russian Kalena, who was accused her of applying for a job at a local marketing agency, and because she did not like bar culture, she eventually refused to hire her on the grounds that her "hobbies" did not match the company. Kalena believed that this was suspected of discrimination. The case was concluded a few days ago in the Labor and Management Court in London. Judge Daniel Huli rejected the prosecution and sentenced the employer to legally judge.

Daniel Huli used Tottenham as an example in his verdict: "In some cases, the employer is completely legal to judge that a person is not suitable for the company team. For example, if a small company, everyone in the company is an Arsenal fan, when two candidates with similar skills come to interview, the employer has the right to select candidates who support Arsenal instead of another Tottenham season ticket holder, because he does not want to destroy the harmonious atmosphere in the office, even if this decision may not be directly helpful to the company's business, this decision is legal."
