Manchester United is close to finalizing two signings

According to multiple British media reports, Manchester United is about to complete two important signings, namely forward Liam Drapp from Ipswich and Brazilian striker Mattus Cunya of Wolves. The total cost of these two transactions is expected to be close to £100 million.

Drapp has gone to Manchester to negotiate, with a transfer fee of £30 million

According to The Athletic, Ipswich has allowed 22-year-old Drapp to travel to Manchester to start direct negotiations with Manchester United. Manchester United is actively conveying the club's future development blueprint to the young scorer and convinced him to join the Premier League giant, which is in the reconstruction stage.

Although Ipswich was unfortunately relegated to the Championship this season, Drapp still performed well in the Premier League, contributing 12 goals. He is one of the forward goals that Manchester United's new coach Ruben Amorin focuses on this summer.

At present, Manchester United has not officially submitted a transfer offer because the team's current priority is to prepare for the UEFA Cup final in Dublin on May 22. However, Chelsea also expressed strong interest in Drapp, especially the contract includes a 30 million pound termination clause. However, it is said that the young player who once played for Manchester City's youth training is more inclined to join the "Dream Theater".

Cunha is close to joining, with a transfer fee of £62.5 million

In addition to Drapp, Manchester United is also close to signing Wolves striker Cunha. The Brazil international has agreed to personal terms, while Manchester United is ready to pay £62.5 million to activate the termination clause in the player's contract. At present, only the last details of this transaction are to be confirmed and are expected to be officially announced in the near future.

If Drapp and Cunha both join, Manchester United will invest nearly £100 million to strengthen the front line in the transfer market this summer. This series of actions shows the club's determination to reshape competitiveness and enhance offensive firepower.

It is worth mentioning that although Manchester United performed poorly in the Premier League this season and ranked only 16th, they successfully reached the UEFA Cup final, which has also become an important capital for the club to regroup and attract high-level players.
