Mirror: Manchester United sets coach announces departure, Amorin weakens the role
Manchester United set-piece coach Andreas Georgson announced his departure after a bad season with the team, according to the Mirror. Georgesen, who only joined Manchester United from Norway's Lillestrom last summer, is seeking new challenges now.
Georgeson joined Manchester United during his coaching period, and received support from technical director Wilcox. In January this year, Amorin brought several assistant coaches when he joined Manchester United from Portugal Sports, but Georgesen still stayed.
Georgeson is 43 years old. He came to England to work with Arsenal set-piece coach Joffer, who was also working in Brentford. Georgeson also has experience working at Arsenal and Southampton, and his specialty is set pieces and out-of-bounds, but Amorin allegedly weakened the importance of the role and therefore chose to leave.
