Post: Manchester United internal notice, it will only decide whether to lay off employees after the Asian tour in the summer

May 21, The Daily Mail reported that Manchester United internal notice will only decide whether to lay off employees after the Asian tour in the summer.

Football department employees at risk of unemployment in Manchester United's latest round of layoffs have been told that they must wait until the club ends the end season tour in Hong Kong and Malaysia in China before knowing their fate.

This means that many employees will still go to Asia with their jobs pending after flying to Bilbao to participate in the UEFA Cup final. According to the Post, the affected groups include Manchester United's analyst team, while other football departments are expected to be hit by the impact of 200 new layoffs from Ratcliff and Inex Group.

Last week, news showed that Amorin paid out of his own pocket to buy the final tickets for 30 staff and their families as the club did not provide a free ticket for each of 700 full-time employees like Tottenham. Most Manchester United employees were only invited to watch the live broadcast at the Manchester Diecast venue, where they can receive two free drinks.

Manchester United players also expressed dissatisfaction with only two tickets per person and chartered flight seats to Santander. Despite this, Manchester United's entourage and guests in Bilbao will still need to stay in three hotels.

The first team stayed in the designated UEFA hotel, but due to the tight accommodation during the finals, the club had to arrange rooms for staff, guests and sponsors in two other hotels. One is the Merria Hotel, which Manchester United checked in the semi-finals against Athletic Bilbao. If UEFA had not made any other arrangements, it would have hoped to choose here again, and the other one would be located in the suburbs.
