British media: Sunderland will refund season ticket fees for season ticket holders over 85 years old
August 7 The Sunderland Echo reported that the Sunderland Club announced that it will implement a new policy for long-term season ticket holders over 85 years old to refund their 2025-26 season season ticket fees. Club Chief Operating Officer Paul Kingsmore announced the move at the latest meeting of the Senior Fan Association, which applies to all fans who are over 85 years old, hold season tickets for at least three consecutive seasons and have renewed their new season. The club stressed that this benefit will also be continued in the coming season. Fans who meet the refund will receive a letter from the club in the near future and are invited to go to the ticket office to complete the refund procedures.
