This move has always been based on my health and long-term career as the primary consideration, and this is naturally exactly in line with Barcelona’s goal: to get me back in my best form as early as possible and continue to fight for the championship. In addition, I have publicly announced the shortest recovery period required after surgery, a time based on the evaluation of authoritative experts and is always in sync with the club.

For some speculations, I need to make a special clearance: all signings and renewals from the club were completed before my surgery. Therefore, it is impossible for me to think that my surgery will be related to registering new teammates - I am full of respect for these colleagues and look forward to the future side-by-side in the locker room.
