Cars crash fans! Liverpool official: Pray for those affected and will keep in touch with police

May 27th Liverpool held a celebration parade for the championship today, and a car crash occurred during the parade.

A car rushed into the celebrating Liverpool fans, causing multiple injuries. Merseyside Police said a man has been detained.

In response to this, Liverpool official issued a statement saying: "We are in direct contact with the Merseyside police regarding the incident that occurred on Water Street when the trophy parade was coming to an end earlier tonight."

"We extend our concerns and prayers to all those affected by this serious incident."

"We will continue to provide full support to the emergency departments and local authorities handling this incident."
