FIFA: 340,000 fans watched the game on the first 8 games of the Club World Cup, and 1.5 million tickets have been sold so far
June 18, FIFA officially stated that nearly 1.5 million tickets have been sold in the Club World Cup. 32 teams participated in the Club World Cup this summer, with a total of 63 games. It has played 8 group matches so far this Tuesday. FIFA said that these 8 games have attracted a total of 340,000 fans to watch the game on the spot. Among them, the number of fans at the opening match between Miami International and Cairo Nationals was 60,927, while 80,619 players were watching the game between Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid. This was also the game with the two clubs having the largest number of fans in the 2024-25 season. FIFA also stated that nearly 1.5 million tickets have been sold so far in this Club World Cup. In addition to the host of the United States, fans from 130 countries and regions have purchased tickets. Among them, the countries with the largest number of ticket purchasers are: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, France, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. In the remaining group stages, the most popular games include: Real Madrid vs Pachuca, Riyadh Crescent vs Salzburg Red Bull, Bayern vs Boca, Chelsea vs Flamenco. It is expected that each of these 4 games will attract more than 50,000 fans to watch the game on the spot. FIFA has announced that for every ticket sold in this Club World Cup, a dollar will be donated to charities to help children around the world gain access to quality education and football training.
