George: I can play anywhere, hope I can reach a very high level

June 28 Chelsea striker Tyrik George played for Chelsea's Club World Cup and scored a goal. He talked about his life choices.

George: "My whole life is in Camden, North London, but I had to make a decision for my career, I was very emotional at the time, my friends were all in North London, so moving to a brand new area, a new city was very tough for me. But when I got there, I was so excited, I saw the kids there and looked forward to entering the new school and meeting new people. It was closer to the Chelsea base, so the decision was worth it. My family also supported me, which gave me the confidence to take this step. I think it was the best decision I have ever made. I played forward, but I could play anywhere, I just wanted to get playing time and have a chance to play."

Chelsea fans sing your name? "I've heard it a few times, and it means a lot to me, and I really like the fans. When they sing my name, you feel a wonderful feeling in your body. It's weird, but I'm always very excited and happy."

ever won the Chelsea Youth Training Player of the Year Award? "It's always a beautiful feeling to get such recognition. I feel like I'm doing a good job, so I'm very happy and just keep working hard."

Celebrating Benfica? "I'm proud, but I don't have much time to think because everything is going too fast and I'm happy for myself, but I just want to keep growing and keep playing. Then I'll see where it will take me, but I want to reach a very high level."
