Leverkusen CEO talks about firing Tenghager: Everything is going in the wrong direction, so change coach
Hupu September 1st, Bundesliga club Leverkusen officially announced that it would officially fire Dutch coach Eric Tenhager. Training will be temporarily under the responsibility of the assistant coaching team. Regarding this decision, Leverkusen senior executive Rollfers also talked about his feelings in an interview with Sky Sports today. He said: "We feel like everything is going in the wrong direction. That's why we decided to make this decision now. This conclusion is based on our impressions in the preseason and in the first few games. We think the direction of the club is unclear! All that would be a big mistake if things continue to move on like this, and we have to admit that the situation is not going the way we imagined."
