Lyon Statement: TAS confirms the club s qualification to participate in the UEFA Cup, welcomes this judgment
August 11th News Lyon Club issued an official statement to respond to confirming the club's qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Lyon's statement read: "The Court of Arbitration for Sports Arbitration today ruled that it confirmed that Lyon Club's qualification to participate in the 2025-26 Europa League, and the club welcomed the judgment." "After the Court of Sports Arbitration accepted the Crystal Palace appeal, it was reviewed and determined that the club met UEFA's requirements on multiple ownership rules and ruled that there was no need to adjust the existing arrangements. The judgment finally confirmed the position that Lyon Club insisted throughout the litigation process, further consolidating its qualification to participate in the UEFA Cup this season."
