Mirror: Manchester United will face the situation of losing Casemiro, he will be suspended after receiving two more yellow cards

October 23 According to the "Mirror" report, Manchester United may once again face the situation of losing Casemiro, because the player will be suspended if he receives two more yellow cards.

The Brazilian star has become an important part of Manchester United's starting lineup, making six appearances in the first eight league games. The only game he missed was the 3-1 loss to Brentford due to suspension.

Casemiro was sent off for two yellow cards in the 2-1 victory against Chelsea in September. Although some people had questioned whether he could still perform at the highest level, coach Amorim still chose to pair him with B Fee in the midfield.

However, with a dense schedule coming up, the Red Devils may regret losing the experienced midfielder. According to Premier League regulations, if a player accumulates five yellow cards in the first 19 games of the season, he will be suspended for one game. There is still some distance to go before this threshold.

Worryingly, despite only playing seven games, Casemiro has already received five yellow cards, three of which were warnings and the other two resulting in his red card. He was booked in the first half of the 1-1 draw at Fulham and then picked up two yellow cards in the win over Chelsea.

After completing his one-game suspension, the 80-time Brazilian national team player was booked again in consecutive games against Sunderland and Liverpool, meaning that with two more warnings he would have to miss another game. If Casemiro receives another yellow card against Brighton on Saturday and then against Nottingham Forest, he will miss the crucial game against Tottenham on November 8.

After 19 games, the threshold for accumulating 10 yellow cards will be raised until the 32nd round, which means that any player who accumulates 10 yellow cards during this period will face a two-match ban. So far, only Everton's Hall has been banned for one game for accumulating five yellow cards.

If Casemiro accumulates two more yellow cards, Amorim will have to call on Ugarte or Menu from the substitute midfielder. Previously, the Portuguese hinted that the latter was competing with B Fee, indicating that Ugarte is more likely to be the first choice.

This also led to rumors of Menu leaving Manchester United. It was reported that Naples was interested in loaning him out and reuniting with McTominay in Naples. However, Amorim refused to consider letting Menu leave the team when the January transfer window opens: "This is normal, and I also know that in our club, there is a lot of noise, you need news, the players want to play, they want to play."

"As you said, there is a World Cup next year. The agents are always listening to the players and I understand that, but they are our people and we need everyone to have a successful season."
