On May 27, Bremen officially announced that first-team head coach Ole Werner was dismissed.

According to Bremen's official website, Ole Werner had previously told the team that he would not renew his contract and that his original contract expired in June 2026.

37-year-old Ole Werner has coached Bremen since November 2021. So far, he has led the team in 128 games in various competitions, with a record of 52 wins, 28 draws and 48 losses.

In addition to Ole Werner, assistant coaches Patrick Coleman, Tom Gijon and Hannes Drus will also leave the club. The current top figure in Bremen's management is looking for a new coach who can continue the club's successful development in the past three years and is suitable for Bremen in terms of football philosophy and personal traits.
