Official: Celtics sign 28-year-old Nigerian striker Isinacho, signing a 1+1 contract

The giant Celtic Football Club officially announced that it would sign Nigerian striker Isinacho. The 28-year-old will sign a one-year contract with the club, with the option to renew a one-year contract.

Ishinacio debuted at Manchester City and won the English League Cup with the team in the early two years of his career. He has since transferred to Leicester City, making more than 200 appearances in seven seasons and helped Leicester City win the historic FA Cup in 2021. While at Leicester City, he also studied under current Celtics coach Brendan Rodgers.

In the summer of 2024, Isinacho joined Sevilla of La Liga and then played for Middlesbrough on loan in the second half of the 2024/25 season. At the same time, he is also a regular visitor to the Nigerian national team, and has won nearly 60 national team appearances in the 2023 African Cup.
