Official: Freiburg signs 23-year-old Japanese midfielder Suzuki Weiren from Brondby

May 20th Freiburg officially announced today that the team officially signed 23-year-old Japanese midfielder Suzuki Weiren from the Danish team Brownderby. The player will wear the No. 14 jersey.

According to official Freiburg news, the player's transfer fee and contract period are not disclosed to the public. Previously, Detian reporter Florian Plettenberg said that the transfer fee is about 7 million to 8 million euros.

Suzuki's career started in Shimizu. He made his career debut in July 2020. He played for Strasbourg on loan from January to June 2023, and joined Brondby in the summer window of the same year.
