August 9: Liverpool officially announced the appointment of Gareth Taylor as the club's women's football coach.

Garres Taylor is 52 years old and has extensive coaching experience in the women's football field and has won multiple championships. Before leaving Manchester City in March this year, he led the Manchester City women's football team to the League Cup and FA Cup championships, and also missed the women's football Premier League championship due to a goal difference disadvantage.

Gareth Taylor has coached in Manchester City's men's football youth training camp for many years and served as the U18 coach. He took over the position of Manchester City's women's football coach in 2020. He has an 18-year player career, during which time he has made nearly 600 appearances in the League One, scoring more than 140 goals, and has also played 15 games for Wales.
