Return to the Premier League! Sunderland Official: Masuaku joins freely, with 2 years of contract
August 10th, Sunderland Football Club officially announced that it will sign Masuaku for a contract of 2 years. Sunderland announced: 31-year-old Masuaku returns to the Premier League after three years. He played for West Ham United from 2016 to 2023, making 128 appearances for the team. After leaving East London, he transferred to Besiktas, making 108 appearances and 18 assists during the Turkish Premier League. This summer, Masuyaku's contract expired and left Istanbul. Masuacu was born in Lille, France. He started his career in Lance, and then joined Valencienna. He grew up in the team's youth training academy, completing 29 first-team appearances. In 2014, at the age of 20, he transferred to Greece Olympiacos, giving two assists in his league debut and scoring a goal in his Champions League debut, quickly gaining a foothold. While playing for Piraeus, he won the Greek Premier League twice and won the Greek Cup. In 2016, he joined West Ham United. During his seven years at the London Bowl Stadium, the defender was loved by fans and was nicknamed "King Arthur".
