The 2025 Xiangzhou Tongchao Children’s Football Tournament opens, with 34 teams competing for the greenery

On November 22, the 2025 "Zhuhai Postal Savings Cup" Xiangzhou Tongchao Children's Football Fun Competition kicked off happily at the football field of Qiya Kindergarten in Zhuhai. This traditional event started in 1998, with the theme of "Little Football, Big Dreams" this year, it attracted 34 children's football teams from Zhuhai and Guizhou's Zunyuan, Sichuan and Fenggang to gather on the green field to start a multi-day football exchange journey with running and laughter, building a bridge for cross-regional children's sports culture integration.

At the opening ceremony, the dragon dance performance of JNU Kindergarten took the lead in igniting the enthusiasm of the audience. The 34 participating teams wore uniform uniforms and entered the venue in order by group. The young players waved team flags and shouted childish but loud slogans. Their tall and tall bodies showed their high fighting spirit. Among them, the two teams from Guizhou are particularly eye-catching. They came across mountains and seas, injecting profound connotations of cross-regional exchanges into the event and becoming a highlight of this event. As the collective shouts of "Small football, big dreams" rang out, the atmosphere was pushed to a climax.

It is worth noting that the opening ceremony was held simultaneously with the awarding ceremony of the "Zhang Junping Preschool Football Studio", which uses professional strength to empower early childhood football education and assist the high-quality development of preschool physical education. During the kick-off session, the guests and young athletes counted down hand in hand, and a crisp kick-off shot across the sky officially kicked off the event. Next to the stadium, in the 800-square-meter football culture exhibition area, the football development history of the 34 participating kindergartens was displayed, vividly demonstrating the heritage and development achievements of Xiangzhou's children's football for more than 20 years.

The parent-child interaction session was full of warmth. Parent-child families from Qiya Kindergarten and Bay Bay Kindergarten worked side by side. With the encouragement of their parents, the children demonstrated their football skills such as kicking and passing the ball. There were constant laughter on the green field, and family affection and sports passion were intertwined. In the friendly match, the Guizhou representative team competed with the local Zhuhai team. The young players ran around and cooperated tacitly. They used pure love to convey the charm of football and classmate friendship, fully demonstrating the innocence and vitality of children's sports. The young players participating in the competition said that although they are young, their love for football has not diminished and they will go all out to show their best style on the field.

It is reported that this competition will continue to be held in multiple kindergartens such as Qiya, Haiwan, Guangming, and Huafa Ronghong. The organizers stated that they will use this event as an opportunity to continue to promote the popularization of children's football, so that more children can strengthen their bodies while running, gain and grow through collaboration, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of preschool education.
