August 3rd News Diogo Jota's parent team Gondomar Club officially announced that it will mark the images of Jota and his brother on three sets of jerseys in the new season in order to commemorate them. Gondomar is the team Jota has played for since he was 9 years old, and his younger brother Andre Silva joined the team at the age of 8. Gondomar official said: "Two children from Gondomar left us, but they live forever in the history of clubs and football. Wearing this jersey means our players step on the court with them."
