Totti: I hope the Italian team will become a united group and look forward to Roma continuing their outstanding performance

October 11th Totti recently accepted an interview and talked about the Italian national team and Roma.

Totti said: "We hope that this Italian national team can become a united group and have a great coach who can lead us to the World Cup. What qualities did the 2006 national team have that I want to give to this current team? Everything."

Talking about Roma, which is currently tied for first place in Serie A, Totti said: "No one expected Roma to be number one, not even Gasperini, and I hope they can maintain this level. The main goal is to get back to the Champions League, and if you are still leading by the middle of the season or the last seven or eight rounds, the goal becomes different. The difficulty is to stay at the top and I hope Roma can stay in this position as long as possible."
