Ziwo: Winning didn t make me feel better, nor was it worse; I only care about Inter Milan s non-criticism

Hupu September 18th Inter Milan coach Zivo attended the post-match press conference to defeat Ajax 2-0.

How does it feel to meet your old friend again?

"Hetinga is in great shape. I'm glad to see him, like everyone I worked with in Amsterdam from 1999 to 2003."

After being criticized, do you feel better?

"I didn't feel worse before, and now I don't feel better. I don't feel worse than others. I'm just doing my job and doing the best things for my club. I'm not thinking about my reputation, but improving the team."

Inter Milan played the results I really hoped for.

"We played our best, pressed at high pressure, and maintained the ball. It is very important to regain the ball in the opponent's half. We did a good job and showed our maturity. We were eager to win, we were eager to improve, and we showed that too."

A small turning point?

"We have been working hard, we have been eager to perform, which is fully reflected in this week's game. Obviously, the criterion for judgment is results, as I said yesterday, yes, but this team is always eager to dominate the game and go all out to win.

Unfortunately, in football, unexpected events are crucial; there is only a line between victory and failure. Today we show a mature mindset and strive to get the game started as soon as possible, and we know that in the Champions League you have to stay focused all the time because your opponent can always cause you trouble."

Turam is considered to be lacking in mental strength, but he has been scoring steadily recently.

"I am happy for Marcus, and for Esposito, Lautaro and Boni. He has been working hard and tried some good combinations with Pio, some succeeding, some not.

I am happy for him because he scored two goals. It was Pio's debut in Europe, but he showed significant maturity and worthy of the team. I am very satisfied with everyone's performance; we need to boost morale and make people believe that the work we have done so far has been at a high level."

Will you feel more confident with the players who have proven their strength?

"My choice is based on my observations, the way they train, and the desire to cheer up. Coaches should never try to cause harm; this is the last thing I want to do.

We always try to add something, but we never fall into the trap of trying to listen to other opinions. Victory doesn't make us better, like we haven't gotten worse before. We need to maintain a steady record and work hard, like we have done so far."

What do you think of Sommer's strong rebound?

"You answer, I've finished saying it, we know how important this is. This is not surprising to me; you can judge for yourself." How is Lautaro?

"He has some problems with his back. His condition has improved today, but it has not recovered yet, and we agree to let him rest so he can recover as soon as possible."

How do you evaluate the quality of the game tonight? How far is it from the best condition?

"There is no best in the football world. There are ups and downs. Sometimes even if you have the advantage, you will lose the game because of two shots. You may hit the post and the crossbar, you have to accept reality, this is football. This team knows what they are doing. I never give scores, I leave the evaluation to yourself. I just want to use one word: maturity."

Does these criticisms bother you?

"I have nothing to complain about. I know who I am and what I can bring. The criterion for judging a coach is grades, yes, but as I said before, I don't feel better or worse than before. I try to do my job well and do my best."
