Beasley: I only realized that someone loved basketball so much. He made me fall in love with playing basketball.

September 20 News Former NBA player Beasley talked about his friendship with Durant on a podcast, saying that Durant made him fall in love with basketball.

"I was about 10 years old when I met KD. He was one year older than me," Beasley recalled. "KD was the first one to make me think, wow, it turns out that someone loves basketball so much, I think it was him who made me fall in love with basketball too."
