Before G5, Clippers Tyron Lu redould his efforts to develop a mysterious plan to deal with the Nuggets Jokic

Tyron Lu is trying to figure out the situation of Nikola Jokic.

In the first round of this NBA playoffs, the fierce showdown between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers is undoubtedly one of the most exciting, competitive and most enjoyable series. After four games, both teams played two games each and will return to Denver for a crucial fifth game.

The Clippers beat the Nuggets in Game 3 in Los Angeles, but the other three games were also fiercely competitive. The first game entered overtime and the Nuggets finally won; the second game was the Clippers narrowly won by three-pointers; the fourth game was determined by Aaron Gordon's buzzer-beating dunk.

The Clippers have sufficient lineup, with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden both performing wonderfully. However, Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets forward, and even in this series, Jokic did not perform at his best from beginning to end.

Game 5 is coming, and the Clippers are still thinking hard about how to limit Jokic's offensive rhythm. Head coach Tyron Lu would not reveal any secrets before returning to the road.

Tyron Lu talked about his plan for Nikola Jokic, because he now averaged triple-double in the series:

Tyron Lu: "Let's wait and see. Let's see tomorrow." 😏

"What does this mean, let's see?"

"Let's wait and see."

"Let's wait and see. Let's talk about the plan for Jokic. "Let's wait and see."

Lu has played a lot of "curve balls" against Jokic in this series. In the first game, Lu compared Ivica Zubac's playing time with Jokic's playing time, and then he began to stagger the game time, allowing Jokic to fight Ben Simmons as a five-man in the small ball lineup. This also forced the Nuggets to send a substitute center (usually DeAndrew Jordan) against Zubac when Jokic was substitute, rather than letting the Nuggets play their best when Jokic left the field and let Aaron Gordon play a small ball.

In Game 4, the Nuggets simply responded to this, not leaving Jokic on the bench in the second half. Lu used his unique regional joint defense to counterattack the Nuggets, which made the Clippers panic and took the opportunity to win back the game. Then Gordon ended the game with his own courage.

If the Clippers cannot limit Jokic's offense, they will have a hard time defeating the Nuggets. However, Lu had made major adjustments before, and he needed to make such adjustments again to win the series.
