Durant stated: I am willing to participate in the All-Star Million Dollar Singles Challenge, mentioning potential opponents such as Irving

On August 28, Rockets new player Kevin Durant publicly stated that he is willing to participate in a one-on-one single-match with a prize of $1 million held on the NBA All-Star Weekend.

The ratings of the last All-Star Weekend were poor. In order to increase attention, the league plans to add a one-man match on the All-Star Weekend next year, with the championship bonus of up to one million US dollars. Recently, when talking about this, Durant said in the podcast of Dream Chasing Green: Yes, I will participate, which is also a good exercise.

Durant emphasized that high bonuses in the game will make players more motivated to participate. He also mentioned that potential opponents include Jason Tatum, Kyrie Irving, Joel Embiid, Shea Gilgers Alexander and Anthony Edwards, and believed that they are all strong one-on-one competitors.

As early in February this year, Mavericks star Irving and Bucks star Antetokounmpo both expressed their willingness to participate in such a one-on-one match, but Irving suffered a torn cruciate ligament in early March this year and has been recuperating for more than 5 months; Irving revealed his recovery during the live broadcast: I recently underwent additional recovery training in the training hall, and the recovery is currently in good condition. Today is the 5th month after the operation, and the date is the 26th.

As we all know, Durant is a well-known solo expert in the league. If the league really adds a one-million dollar one-on-one match on the All-Star Weekend, do you think Durant can eventually win the one-on-one championship?
