Knicks legend Quentin Richardson believes that if Jaylen Brunson continues to play at a high level, he will become one of the greatest players in the Knicks' history.

The New York Knicks have entered the Eastern Conference Finals and they have a good chance to advance to the NBA Finals. First, they have to beat the Indiana Pacers and they have the strength to do that. Jaylen Brunson was one of the reasons they advanced to the highlights of the Finals, and he was one of the best players in the playoffs this year.

He has been a top player since Brunson joined the Knicks, and his performance proves it. Quentin Richardson recently spoke on the Pat McAfee Show about what he thinks he can achieve if Brunson continues to play.

"He is expected to be the greatest player in the Knicks' history," Richardson said. "If he wins the NBA championship, it's not even a game, but even if he fails to win the championship, he still has a chance to achieve it."

The Knicks have had some top players, but Brunson has made it to the list with his own strength. After accepting some discounts, he gave the Knicks a chance to sign players like Mikal Bridges and Carl Anthony Towns, which also allowed the Knicks to get to where they are today.

Richardson continued to highly comment on Brunson and believed that if he won the championship, he would be able to do whatever he wanted.

"If he wins, he will likely have the city," Richardson said. "If they win the championship, he might be able to do anything. Even if he doesn't really win the NBA championship, he can play like this and contribute to the team, at his level, and what they originally expected of him, and what he's accomplished now, prove his ability."

" Then he accepted the salary cut. He could have waited until next year to sign them a super maximum salary contract. But he signed a lower contract so that they could use the money to sign others."

The Knicks are currently trailing 0-1 in the series with the Pacers, and in Game 1 they were leading for a while but eventually lost the game, which was very difficult for them. As usual, the Pacers fought back with a few seconds left and dragged the game into overtime, eventually winning the game.
