Stein: Kumingga & Thomas & Giddy all wants an annual salary of 30 million, but no team has room for it
July 30th News reporter Marc Stein reported on Thomas' contract renewal today. "As there are currently no teams with sufficient cap space to offer offers to Thomas or other restricted free agents such as Kuminga and Gidey, the Brooklyn Nets don't seem to be in a hurry to speed up negotiations with Thomas' agents. Thomas, like Kuminga and Gidey, reportedly seeking an annual salary of 30 million," Stein reported. This summer, Kumingga, Gidey, Thomas, Grimes and others are all restricted free agents, but the Nets have a larger salary space.
