Asked about the possibility of selling Milan, Cardinale responded: I will never sell this club
On October 22, in an interview with "ThatMilanPodcast" guest Kush, Milan owner Cardinale was asked whether AC Milan might be sold. In this regard, Cardinale's answer was: "I will never sell this club." Many speculations about Milan's possible sale stem from the ongoing controversy surrounding the San Siro Stadium. The two major clubs, Milan and Inter Milan, have received approval to purchase the land around the existing stadium and are preparing to demolish most of the existing structures and build a new, modern stadium on the original site. When this project is launched, or when it is completed, the ownership of both clubs will be healthier in favor of a sale by Redbird and Oaktree Capital, but for now Cardinale seems determined to hold AC Milan for the long term.
