Barcelona winger position signing four major goals

According to World Sports, Manchester United striker Rashford is one of the four wingers Barcelona is focusing on introducing this summer.

In the just-concluded 2024/25 season, Barcelona successfully won the La Liga championship with its strong performance with the offensive trident composed of Lewandowski, Yamal and Rafinia. However, coach Flick hopes to further strengthen the front line to cope with the goal of defending La Liga in the new season and further striving for the Champions League - they lost to Inter Milan in the semi-finals.

After signing goalkeeper Juan Garcia (transfer fee of £21 million), Barcelona's next signing focus is to introduce a left winger. At present, the club has formulated a list of signings with four players.

The four major signing targets are released:

Luis Dias (Liverpool)

The Colombian winger has long attracted the attention of Barcelona. However, Liverpool priced him £51 million, which Barcelona believes is too high and is still waiting to see if a deal is possible.

Rashford (Manchester United)

Although Rashford currently plays for Manchester United, his performance in the Premier League still attracts European giants. Barcelona is also paying close attention to his trends and learning that the England international is willing to cut his salary sharply, from the current weekly salary of £325,000 to a more reasonable level in order to realize his dream of joining Barcelona.

Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao)

The Spanish star performed well in the 2024 European Cup and is regarded as the star of the future. However, his termination fee is as high as 58 million euros, which also makes Barcelona hesitate.

Ivan Perisic (free agent)

Although he is 36 years old, the experienced Croatian veteran has successfully cooperated with Flick during his time at Bayern, and is currently in a free agency and can join the game without a visa. Barcelona sees it as a cost-effective alternative.

Currently, Barcelona is evaluating these four options and will make final decisions based on player wishes, transfer fees and salary structure.
