Italian media: Juventus is willing to give an annual salary of 5 million euros, Yildiz hopes for more + guaranteed planning ambitions
According to Italian media "ilbianconero" on November 21, within Juventus, the issue of Yildiz's contract renewal is triggering extensive discussions. The future of Kenan Yildiz is one of the most important issues for Juventus at the moment - considering his current importance in the team, it can even be said to be the most important issue. The Türkiye international's current contract with Juventus will last until June 30, 2029, with four years left. He is currently discussing with the club the possibility of extending the agreement and adjusting the current salary package of the Bianconeri No. 10 player. During the two-day event of the Social Football Summit held at Juventus' Allianz Stadium, Chiellini also talked about the extremely delicate topic of Yildiz's contract extension, but he behaved quite calmly: "Yildiz's contract extension? Need to calm down. All parties have the will: maintain a balance Be calm and everything will work out on its own. " After the last contract extension signed a year ago (extending the contract period from 2027 to 2029), Yildiz's current annual salary is 1.7 million euros, making him one of the lowest-paid players in the Bianconeri. This number is obviously inconsistent with the actual weight of the No. 10 player in the team. For this reason, Juventus does not want to take any risks: the stated intention is of course to reach an agreement as soon as possible to ensure that the "old lady" can lock up the most precious treasure in its "crystal showcase". In fact, Juventus is willing to increase his annual salary to a level of approximately 5 million euros in net income. That would make him one of the highest-paid players on the team. As mentioned above, there are obviously economic differences between Juventus and Yildiz, and the gap between the offer and the asking price must be narrowed before a final agreement can be reached. However, it is not just economic factors that are on the table. In fact, Yildiz does not see this as a purely economic issue. The first thing he seeks is reassurances about the club's ambitions and plans. In other words, Yildiz hopes to become the icon of a winning Juventus team, rather than the representative of a team that has experienced ups and downs in recent seasons and struggled to compete for the top four. He is ambitious and sees the need to be the backbone of a Juve team where winning - as Chiellini emphasized - must return to normalcy. According to the "Turin Sports Daily" report, it was Yildiz himself who asked to reduce the attention and volume of his contract renewal negotiations to avoid leaving room for unwarranted speculation. None of the parties involved intends to shape this negotiation into a truly difficult case, because, as said, the will is unanimous and the common goal is to reach an agreement that satisfies both parties.
