Manchester United official: First-team assistant coach Andreas Georgesson leaves office

According to the official website of Manchester United on May 31, assistant coach Andreas Georgesson left Manchester United's first-team coaching position.

Swedish Georgesson joined Manchester United from Norwegian top team Lillestrom in July 2024, after he coached in Southampton, Arsenal and Brentford in England and Malmö of Sweden.

Georgesson said: "Being a first-team coach at Manchester United has been a wonderful experience and I will always be proud to be connected to such a great football club. This stage of career is now over and I will leave to find new challenges. Although I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead, I am still sad to leave Carrington so many excellent colleagues and friends who have made Manchester United so special."
