Official: Atletico Madrid B coach Torres renews his contract with the club until June 2027

May 31 According to Atletico Madrid's official website, Fernando Torres reached a contract renewal agreement with Atletico Madrid and will continue to coach Atletico Madrid until June 30, 2027.

The Madrid coach led Atletico Madrid B to a good result in his just-concluded first season. The team finally ranked seventh with 54 points, an improvement over the previous season. At the same time, they fought until the penultimate round to qualify for the upgraded playoffs.

In the 2021/22 season, Torres joined Atletico Madrid's Juvenil A and was promoted to head coach the following season.
