October 19th According to NBA reporter Brett Siegel, sources revealed that the Bucks are expected to waive Taylor Smith. Previously, Smith, Andre Jackson Jr. and Amir Coffey had been competing for the Bucks' last roster spot. Tyler Smith has three years left on his contract, of which 1.95 million for the new season is guaranteed and the Bucks will have to pay it. The salary for the 26-27 and 27-28 seasons does not need to be paid anymore. Having previously laid off Lillard, Chris Livingston, and completed buyouts with Micic, the Bucks already have 25.47 million in dead money on their books for the new season.
