November 15th NBA Cup, the Lakers defeated the Pelicans 118-104. Reeves accepted an interview with the media after the game.

Reporter: "This is a long away trip. How important is it to end this trip with a good result?"

Reeves: "I think it is very important. We played the two worst games on this away trip, but like I said , this time we go back with a record of more wins than losses, and I feel like we have been out for seven weeks, so if we can end this away trip with three wins and two losses, we will accept this result and put those two very ugly losses behind us.”
