    Spoelstra: Riley is the greatest mentor I ve ever had, glad he finally gets a statue
November 3rd at 10:30 this morning, the Heat played against the Lakers.   Before the game, Heat coach Spoelstra talked about the Lakers' plan to erect a statue for Pat Riley later this season. Spoelstra said: "He is the greatest mentor I have ever encountered, and we are really happy that he is finally going to have a statue." As a player, Riley won the NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1971-72 season. After retiring, he coached the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heat, and led the team to win the NBA championship 4 times.
