Sun Exclusive: Wrexham wants to sign midfielder Jordan James, Rennes is willing to sell

Hupu August 24th, according to the exclusive report of famous reporter Alan Nixon of the Sun, Wrexham hopes to defeat Italian team Parma in a bid to chase Jordan James.

French team Rennes will sell the Welsh midfielder star to the highest bidder.

Ipswich is also interested in 21-year-old James. But Wrexham — owned by superstar partners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McEl Henney — intends to beat all bidders.

James transferred from Birmingham to Rennes last summer for £4 million. He signed a four-year contract with the French club.

James has made 25 appearances in his debut season, but the 20-time midfielder, who has made Wales for 20 times, appears to be leaving now.

Former Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Questa is eager to bring him to Italian side Parma. But transfer to Wrexham may be James' first choice.

This new Championship team has been busy in the transfer market this summer.

Wales' compatriots Nathan Broadhead, Kiefer Moore and Danny Ward have transferred.

In addition, Callum Doyle, Lewis O'Brien, Connor Cody and others also spent huge transfer fees.
