Why Iguodala will definitely enter the Hall of Fame

Why I think Iguodala is eligible for the Hall of Fame.

Judging from the data, the first brother is not qualified to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He has not averaged 20 points per game in a season and has only been selected for the All-Star once. But this did not bother the No. 1 brother, nor did he change his way of playing. He has never been a player who needs data to prove his game level. He knows who he is and the value he can bring.

When he is at the 76ers, he will become the leader of the team and the core of the offense. But when he comes to a team like the Warriors with more talented offensive players, he will take a back seat on the offense.

You may think it's easy to do this, but many players on par with No. 1 have never made the way they play as they did later in their career.

The first person's career is much more exciting than we have seen. You need to understand him more deeply to understand why he deserves to be in his Hall of Fame.

76ers period

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Arizona's Andre Egodara with the ninth pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. In 2004, Iguodara was selected with the ninth pick and became the main player in the 76ers small forward position. He ranked third in the team in terms of playing time per game, behind Iverson and Chris Webber. And found a way to contribute on both the offense and defense.

You know I can hit the box, shoot, I can get everyone involved, I just do everything well

Rookie Iguodala averaged 9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.7 steals, which made him a All-Rookie Team. His playing time increased in the playoffs, but the Sixers still lost to the Pistons in the first round.

Iguodala proved that she was an excellent deterrent in the first year of her career. At his peak, Iguodala was one of the most fierce dunks ever. What was concealed by his wonderful dunk was the fact that he was one of the smartest and most mature young players in the entire league at that time.

He is an excellent rookie. We won't trade anything in the world for him. A bottle of soda and a bag of potato chips may be able to do the second year of his career. Although the Sixers failed to make the playoffs, Iguodala's average level has improved.

In the 2006-07 season, the 76ers traded Iverson to the Nuggets, allowing 23-year-old Iguodala to become the team leader, and he did not disappoint. He has been the top scorer in the inside for four consecutive seasons. The Sixers didn't have any other All-Stars at the time, but with Iguodala's strong performance, they made the playoffs in four of the next six seasons.

Although Iguodala was not selected as an All-Star during this period, he is an All-Star genius. In the 2008-09 season, Iguodala led the league in playing time. In 2012, he was selected as an All-Star for the first time and only time in his career. In the same season, Iguodala and young Holiday helped the underrated 76ers to the Bulls in the first round, but lost to the Celtics in the second round.

Nuggets-Warriors Period

2012-13 Before the start of the season, Iguodala was traded to the Nuggets in a four-party trade. After losing Iguodala, the 76ers only achieved a record of 34 wins and 48 losses. The Nuggets, who won Iguodala, scored the best record in team history, with a record of 57 wins and 25 losses, and scored the highest average score in the league.

At this stage of his career, Iguodala is the most underrated player in the league. He has only been selected for the All-Star and the All-Defensive Team once. But his team has made the playoffs in six of nine seasons, with Iguodala being the top scorer in four of them.

One interesting statistic is that from 2006 to 2013, Iguodala's assists per game were second only to James and Wade among all non-point guards. From 2009 to 2013, it was second only to James. Iguodala's unique passing ability cannot be ignored. He really likes to get all the players involved in the offense.

After playing for one season in the Nuggets, he was traded to the Warriors at the age of 30. At the Warriors, he no longer needs to be a scorer to win the team

. He averaged 15.6 shots per game in the season with the Sixers, and at the Nuggets, he dropped to 11 shots per game, while during his time with the Warriors, he dropped to single digits. It's not because his ability is declining, but because he is willing to sacrifice his personal data to bring victory to the team. He knows very well what else he can contribute besides scoring. Even at his peak, he still played as the sixth man for the team.

In his second season with the Warriors at Iguodala, he helped the team win the Warriors' dynasty's first championship. In the finals, Iguodala took on the task of defending James. While limiting his opponents, he also averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4 assists per game. His performance won him the most important award for entering the Hall of Fame - the Finals MVP.

For reference, except for Iguodala, only Celtics' Maxwell won the Finals MVP in 1981, but has not yet been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

There are some people who are not in the Hall of Fame, but they are better than me. I just said, "Hey man, that's the truth."

This further proves that Iguodala was not immersed in glory, but used this opportunity to honor his teammates.

Stephen Curry is an interesting person to me. I've never seen someone so humble and kind.

2015-2016 season, the Warriors created the best regular season record in NBA history, but lost to the Cavaliers in the Finals. They then brought in Durant and won two other titles from the dynasty.

As I grew older, Iguodala's role became more and more limited, but he still found ways to contribute. In the 2019-2020 season, he was traded to the Heat and helped the team reach the finals. He was later eliminated by the Lakers. He averaged 19.5 minutes per game that year. In 2021 and 2022, he returned to the Warriors and won his fourth championship.

Reviewing the No. 1 career, you will find that you have to dig deeper to understand his contribution to the team. Those who say Iguodala’s data are not good should take a look again. Iguodala is one of the few best offense and defense players in history in terms of assists, rebounds, steals and blocks. Iguodala has not won many individual awards. He may have been an All-Star more than once in his career, but has been often replaced by players who have shot more than he does, but Iguodala doesn’t care about record or honors. He cares about relationships and victory.

His understanding of games and winning is obviously the greatest in history. Unlike others, he is willing to make personal sacrifices for the benefit of the team. You can say Iguodala is one of the most powerful bonding players. He could have produced good-looking data, but that was not his purpose. Iguodala is determined to pursue victory. He is one of the best players of his generation and can make the right play on both sides of the offense and defense.

Four championship rings will prove that he can be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This is my goal, and I have excellent teammates. We will always remember this.
