August 22nd News Today, Lakers forward James updated his Instagram Story updates. James posted the "Labubu" doll he got and wrote: "Please call him LaBronBronScheffler♂" Note: James has two meanings for the naming of this doll. One is the homonym of "Labubu" and his own name "LeBron", and the other is the American professional golfer Scottie Scheffler, showing his love for golf. Labubu is the leading IP of Pop Mart and was created by Hong Kong designer Long Jiasheng in China. It was originally derived from the 2015 picture book "Mysterious Buka", and its prototype is an elf from the Nordic forest. Labubu has a pair of pointed ears, nine jagged teeth, and a "stolen" smile. Under her "ugly and cute" appearance, she has an innocent and naughty personality, breaking the stereotype of traditional dolls' cute and sweetness.
